The sun is finally shining today!! I must confess, several days of rain and being cooped up in my hotel room, with the exception of my daily walks, is a recipe for the blues. Waking up to sunshine this morning, was a welcomed treat and so was sketching outdoors, much more satisfying then sketching in my room!
There are several of these houseboats along the canal and I’m thinking this would be a pretty sweet way to live, especially in these times of covid! I brought along my sepia marker, travel brush with a tiny jar of water, and a watercolor pencil and decided to try them all out in combination.
